 Billing System Changes and Automatic Recurring Charges

Details This update is to inform clients that we will need to be making further changes to our billing system processes in order to address the issue we are having with automatic recurring billing for customers using credit cards. If you do not currently use a credit card to pay your hosting fees, you may disregard this information, as it will not affect you.

For those of you paying your monthly fees via credit card, we are sure you are aware that our system has not been able to automatically process your fees on the first of the month. This was one of the primary reasons for us putting this system into place. Our past main credit card processor, 2Checkout.com, has illustrated that it will not properly support our billing system, and support the automated recurring billing that many of you have requested. As such, we are presently working on bringing a new merchant gateway online to take over all credit card processing. This new gateway will provide enhanced account security, ensure compliance with ongoing credit card company requests, and provide the automated monthly billing that we need. Ultimately, this will bring about an improved overall experience for you, our customers, and provide a solution to this issue.

Unfortunately, this gateway change will require clients to update their profiles again, but only if you use a credit card for your monthly fees, and wish to have automated recurring billing enabled.

We expect this adjustment to be completed as soon as possible, and will update the news on the client portal, as well as send out emails as this process goes on. We do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you, and appreciate your patience while we get this issue resolved once and for all. This was an unforseen complication that arose during the billing system change, and it took some time to determine that 2Checkout.com would no longer fit the needs of our clients.
